Deepak Desousa says the the contractor responsible for the fiasco has "done a runner" - and taken thousands of dollars with him. ​On the night of July 30, he entered his mobile number in the 'get a quote' section of Craigs Concrete Contractors' website – a company he found after a quick online search. On August 26, Craig promised a drain layer would arrive at 5pm and the concrete work would begin on August 28. ​​According to the Companies Office website, Craig's Concrete Contractor was incorporated on June 21, 2017 and the director was Craig Marsh.
