The three-day event takes place at the Exhibition Centre in the city of Bordeaux, France, and will draw visitors from 70 countries interested in acquiring agricultural, winemaking and cellar equipment. International visitors include, for example, Tony Stewart—CEO of Stewart Family Estates, which owns Quails’ Gate Winery in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada, as well as Madrone Estate in Sonoma, California. He will arrive in Bordeaux with a team—including the president of Quails’ Gate as well as winemakers from both facilities. “Vinitech is an opportunity to experience, firsthand, new and evolving technologies in the wine industry,” said Nikki Callaway, winemaker at Quails’ Gate (who previously studied enology at the University of Bordeaux). “We’re excited about the cooperage tours, châteaux visits and being immersed in Bordelaise hospitality—which includes exceptional food and wine!” she added.
