Shurjakanta Mondal, the homeopath doctor, returned to his village home in Kalikabari of Kotalipara upazila about a week ago. Confirming, UP Chairman Amrita Lal said: "Amal was beaten when he went there," adding that other men were sent later who completed the job. Confirming that the village police member was beaten, Kotalipara police station OC Sheikh Lutfor Rahman said police will begin an investigation of the incident soon.
