Vietnam, Japan promotes establishment of sci-tech centreVietnam and Japan should make meticulous preparations to set up the Vietnam-Japan Science and Technology Centre under Le Quy Don Technical University, which helps enhance teaching and studying quality as well as open up research opportunities for both nations. Le Quy Don Technical University, one of the key national universities in Vietnam, is under the management of the Defence Ministry. Senior Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan (R) and his Japanese guestSenior Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, made the call during a reception for Japanese former Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshito Sengoku in Hanoi on July 20. Le Quy Don university inked a Memorandum of Understanding on education, scientific research and technology transfer cooperation with Media Gain Co., Ltd in February, 2016. He expressed his hope that the Vietnam-Japan Science and Technology Centre will play a part in deepening the sound friendship between two countries.
