Police are asking for the person being targeted in a Monday evening shooting in Jamestown to come forward as they continue their search for suspects wanted after a 15-year-old boy was shot. The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. on Feb. 6, near the eastern entrance of Jamestown Cres. Police say a black Chrysler 300, possibly a 2010 to 2012 model, with horizontal chrome rub rails, silver rims and tinted windows, was parked on the north side of the street by a parking lot. In video footage released by police, two men can be seen leaving the car and running towards a man walking south through the parking lot. The men then fired many times from about 25 feet from the intended target, who managed to run north and evade the shots.
