Azarenka informed tournament director Karl Budge on Sunday morning and the search has already begun to find a replacement. It was hoped this would be sorted by the time of the Classic, but it appears that this won't be the case, she told tournament director Karl Budge. "If I look back five years ago, the thought of having Agnieszka Radwanska here was a massive achievement for the tournament," Budge said.
