Vicky Vi Thuy Doan-Nguyen and Edward Boynton Trigg were married May 11 at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau. The bride and groom both work in the department of materials science and engineering at Ohio State University in Columbus. She is an assistant professor and he is a postdoctoral researcher, conducting basic research on novel composite materials. The bride, 33, who will take her husband’s name, graduated from Yale and received a doctoral degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Her father is a file clerk and her mother is a data entry clerk.
