Vehicles rolled near Balclutha and in central Alexandra almost coincidentally yesterday afternoon. Another person received minor injuries after a car and van crashed on Alexandra’s Centennial Ave. Witnesses at the South Otago scene said the driver lost control of an SUV while heading south, exiting a corner between the highway’s Station and Paterson Rd intersections, about 11km northeast of Balclutha. Police and fire personnel inspect a rolled vehicle on State Highway 1 near Lovells Flat, in South Otago, yesterday afternoon. Emergency services attended a rolled vehicle after a crash on Alexandra’s Centennial Ave yesterday, when a car and van collided outside the fire station.
