Two Toronto police officers on bicycles were slightly injured on Saturday night when they were struck by a vehicle in a hit and run. Allyson Douglas-Cook, spokesperson for the Toronto police, said the officers stopped the vehicle, a silver-coloured Honda Pilot SUV, on Baldwin Street near Spadina Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. When the police asked the driver for his documents, he fled the scene, striking the officers, who were still on their bicycles. The officers went to hospital where they were treated and released. Douglas-Cook said the vehicle was last seen travelling southbound on Spadina Avenue.
