A man was seriously injured following a stabbing in the city’s downtown core overnight, during Nuit Blanche festivities. Emergency crews responded to calls for a stabbing at Yonge and Shuter Sts. Paramedics say a man, who they described as being in his teens to 20s, was stabbed twice in the torso. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he has undergone surgery. Police say that 5-6 males were seen running southbound on Yonge St. following the incident.
