Police were called to the Coastal Highway, near Motueka, after this car left the road. A vehicle has plunged off the Coastal Highway, near Motueka. All occupants were out of the vehicle and there were no reports of injury following the Thursday morning incident, according to a police spokeswoman. Police received a report at 7.12am of a car "having gone off the road and into the sea" from State Highway 60, the Coastal Highway, near the intersection with Weka Rd. "The car went down on to some rocks," the police spokeswoman said.
