A vehicle ferrying contraband goods fatally knocked down two pedestrians outside Kapsabet County Referral Hospital on Sunday. Police confirmed the incident and said they recovered three sets of vehicle number plates suspected to be of stolen motor vehicles. Nandi Central OCPD David Anyir said the two pedestrians, male and female died on the spot as the car rolled several times. The sub-county police commander said the suspect would be arraigned in court to face 2twocounts of dangerous driving causing death and trafficking a banned substance.
