Most of the supplies that come into the Dambulla Economic Centre are from cultivations in Yatawatta and Pallepola Divisional Secretary areas. However, 90 per cent of the vegetable crops have been damaged in these areas. They said the government should also consider the prices of fertilizer and pesticides in calculating the payment of damages.
