WIMBLEDON, England — Vasek Pospisil came to Wimbledon two years ago not expecting to play any doubles. Meanwhile, American Jack Sock was looking for someone to team up with and asked Pospisil if he was interested. Pospisil told his scheduled doubles partner, Julian Knowle, there was only a 50/50 chance he’d be able to play doubles and that the Australian might want to look for a new partner. There wasn’t much of a crowd at Court 18 to watch Pospisil and Sock, but it obviously didn’t bother them. They both play doubles mainly to keep their singles skills sharp.
