Pix by Faris ZainuddinKOTA BARU: A 22-year-old Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) student was injured after he was attacked with a knife in a robbery near the university's city campus in Pengkalan Chepa here recently. Thong Soon Hock was playing with his iPad phone when he was attacked about 9pm on Friday night. "The robber managed to grab my handphone and when he was running to his friend who is waiting on a motorcycle, I decided to chase him. "Then he took out a knife from his pocket and slashed me on my stomach," he told reporters here today. MCA will also seek the district police's assistance so that more patrol cars can be deployed in the area," he said.
