Vanderlande Industries, the Dutch provider of conveyance systems and logistics process automation, has opened a new headquarters in Marietta that was two decades and nearly $60 million in the making. At the time of its announcement, Vanderlande had 1,250 employees in Georgia. Within the new space, Vanderlande has opened a temporary innovation center where customers will be able to see automation and software in action. A new, larger innovation space is being constructed now, helping facilitate continued work with Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University and the University of Georgia.
