A crash in Hamilton where a motorbike and van collided saw a group of people come together to get the van off the rider. Emergency services were called to the crash on Anglesea St about 11.30am on Friday, near Countdown. Senior Sergeant Pete Simpson said the motorbike rider was conscious and talking when they arrived. Harvey Tucker, 46, said he came across the harrowing scene while the man was trapped under the van. About eight people worked to lift the van off him and push it out of the way.
