The Committee state: The experience of the war has proved that women can be employed with advantage to the community in the performance of certain police duties which, before the war, were exclusively discharged by men. For the efficient performance of these duties, the women must be specially qualified, highly trained, and well paid, and should form an integral part of the police force.
