APThe University of Oxford's possible vaccine against could be rolled out by the end of the year, but there is no certainty that will happen. The experimental vaccine, which has been licensed to British pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca, produced an immune response in early-stage clinical trials. Brazil, at the same time, has begun advanced clinical testing of a Chinese-made vaccine, issuing the first doses to around 900 volunteers. Sarah Gilbert, a professor of vaccinology at the University of Oxford, said: "The end-of-the-year target for getting vaccine roll-out is a possibility. Another vaccine, developed by state-owned Chinese company Sinopharm, also entered phase three trials this month in the United Arab Emirates.
