February 20, 2021 by News Admin No CommentsThe vaccination of religious leaders against COVID-19 would be commenced in Kandy today with the vaccination of a group of monks, the Prime Minister’s Office said. The Prime Minister has instructed the Buddhasasana and Religious Affairs Ministry Secretary to expedite the vaccination of the clergy. Accordingly, the vaccination of Buddhist monks of Kandy will begin today and the drive would be expanded to include all religious leaders across the country.
