MANILA, Philippines – The Office of the Vice President (OVP) distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) to three Manila-based hospitals, to help protect healthcare workers attending to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients. ADVERTISEMENT“Through the help of Transportify and Ninjavan, OVP staff delivered the PPE sets to San Lazaro Hospital in Sta. Cruz, Manila, to Philippine General Hospital in Ermita, Manila; and to University of the Philippines-National Institutes of Health, also in Ermita, Manila,” Robredo’s office said. According to Robredo’s office, a total of P5.995 million of its funds have been allocated to procure PPE sets that can be used by at least 1,000 health workers for 15 days.
