MANILA, Philippines – The Office of the Vice President (OVP) distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) to three Manila-based hospitals, to help protect healthcare workers attending to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients. Vice President Leni Robredo’s staff brought the PPE sets to the San Lazaro Hospital in Sta. ADVERTISEMENT“Through the help of Transportify and Ninjavan, OVP staff delivered the PPE sets to San Lazaro Hospital in Sta. Cruz, Manila, to Philippine General Hospital in Ermita, Manila; and to University of the Philippines-National Institutes of Health, also in Ermita, Manila,” Robredo’s office said. According to Robredo’s office, a total of P5.995 million of its funds have been allocated to procure PPE sets that can be used by at least 1,000 health workers for 15 days.
