MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines (UP) is asking for donations of personal protective equipment (PPE) for members of the Philippine Genome Center (PGC), who are tasked to study COVID-19 samples for genetic sequencing. ADVERTISEMENTThe PGC workers, who are now working as a skeletal group, need PPEs including N95 masks, surgical masks, disposable impermeable laboratory gowns and caps, face shields and shoe covers. The university is accepting supplies from Monday to Friday at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the lobby of PGC building at A. Ma.
