MANILA, Philippines — Notable guests from government officials to showbiz personalities have attended the proclamation of winning senatorial bets on Wednesday at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). Reelectionist Senator Cynthia Villar, who topped the senatorial race, was accompanied by her husband Manny Villar who once served as senator and Las Piñas representative. ADVERTISEMENTVillar’s children Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Mark and Las Piñas Representative-elect Camille, were also present at the proclamation. They accompanied former PNP chief and senator-elect Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa on the stage after he was given his certificate of proclamation. Former Vice President Jejomar Binay was also in attendance to support his daughter senator-elect Nancy Binay during the proclamation.
