The Jamaican sprinter currently holds some of the most prestigious world records in athletics, including the quickest 100 metres and 200 metres times. The 35-year-old ran the 100 metres in 9.58 seconds and covered 200 metres in just 19.19 seconds. Back in 2020, American sprinter Noah Lyles thought he’d recorded the fastest time ever in the 200-metre dash. That would have absolutely obliterated Bolt’s world record and the commentators – like everyone else watching – couldn’t believe what they were reading on the screen.
