Authorities have released an urgent recall of organic eggs over fears they are contaminated with salmonella. Southern Highland Organic Eggs are being recalled by Synergy Produce Pty Ltd due to potential microbial contamination. The urgent recall includes both the six and 12 pack of the eggs with dates up to and including May 9. The NSW Food Authority warns consumers that food contaminated with Salmonella may cause illness. The recall comes almost two weeks after eggs sold at IGA and bakeries across NSW were recalled due to salmonella fears.
