A lot has been said about the Kiambu Jubilee primaries for the governorship with many people poking fun at Governor William Kabogo. We obviously did not expect that Governor Kabogo would have an easy run for a second term but we also did not expect people to use underhand tactics to throw him off the track. The propaganda against Governor Kabogo was well calculated and in the all style of politics, preserved until the last minute to derail the voters. The people who engineered the propaganda against Kabogo have done a great deservice to Kiambu. But if Governor Kabogo was only interested in the power and status, why was he, days after nominations, at Thika hospital inspecting projects by his government?
