Becoming an adolescent mother will not only make you drop out of school, it will also relieve you of your duties in your church. Psychosocial stress, rejection, stigma and discrimination are just but some of the problems associated with teenage pregnancy. At home, adolescent mothers are considered a burden and embarrassment to the family. The community also rejects them in most cases. Training on value clarification and attitude transformation will also make the community accept teenage mothers as they are. The clergy must also be sensitised on the plight of adolescent mothers and the reality of unsafe abortion.
