The Secretary General of the Central Organization of Trade Unions, COTU Francis Atwoli has hinted that the organization wrote President Uhuru a letter with several demands that will see Kenyan workers life is catered for. He dismissed claims that Kenyan workers earn higher than their counterparts from most of the countries. He said that the coast of living in Kenyan towns is so high and city residents need to be paid well. In addition, Atwoli said hinted that in the letter they have asked the president to have lunch with them so that they can find an opportunity to tell him the grievances of Kenyan workers. Meanwhile, Atwoli is set to lead Kenyan workers during the labour day celebrations at Uhuru park an event that the President Uhuru is expected to attend.
