Sonu leader Babu Owino and businesswoman Esther Passaris have secured ODM tickets in the just concluded Nairobi primaries. Owino garnered 6,093 votes for the Embakasi East MP ticket, while Passaris beat five opponents to get 65,104 votes for the Nairobi woman representative ticket. Results also indicate that Ken Okoth has won the ODM ticket for the Kibra MP seat. In Makadara, George Aladwa beat Reuben Ndolo for the MP ticket. Badi Twalib also won with 3,283 votes against Dan Aloo's 1,759 votes in the contest for ODM Jomvu MP ticket.
