MANILA, Philippines — Residents of Caraga, the Visayas and Bicol Region should prepare for flooding and landslides as Tropical Storm Urduja is forecast to make landfall over Samar on Saturday, Pagasa said. In a severe weather bulletin, Pagasa said the storm was 240 km east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar and forecast to move northwest at 5 kph. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph and is expected to make landfall over Northern Samar and Eastern Samar on Saturday morning and afternoon. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 2 has been raised over Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar and Biliran.
