Imelda Tolentino, spokesperson of the MIMAROPA (Mindoro Oriental and Occidental, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) regional police, said Barangay Mabini was heavily affected by the landslide as reported by the barangay officials. Aside from the three fatalities in Biliran and two from Romblon, a two-year old boy was also reported dead in Mahaplag town of Leyte.
