The United Way of Toronto and York Region has named Daniele Zanotti as its new CEO. From 2007 to 2015, Zanotti served as the CEO of the York Region branch of the charity until it merged with its Toronto counterpart. Going into the role, Zanotti said he will continue the United Way’s focus on its core priorities. “Daniele is the ideal person to lead this organization going forward,” Vince Timpano, chair of United Way’s board of trustees, said in a news release. Zanotti takes over from Susan McIsaac, who recently stepped down to spend more time with her family.
