The 43-year-old woman, who is not being named to protect the identify of the victim, was charged with sexual assault, sexual exploitation, making child pornography, distributing child pornography, possessing child pornography, and accessing child pornography. According to a release from Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden, Cash also has child pornography possession charges facing pending in Missouri. His mother was arrested Wednesday at a licensed daycare facility in Red Deer where she works. Officers with ALERT’s Internet Child Exploitation unit began investigating in late May after receiving information from the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children Unit about a child being sexually abused, based on evidence seized in a child pornography investigation in Idaho. While conducting a forensic examination of Cash’s electronic devices, investigators discovered one of the victims was from Red Deer and quickly zeroed in on a suspect.
