Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Abdul Bari Shinbaru, demanded his counterpart in the Ministry of Interior to take legal action against members of the municipalities of Sabratha and Sorman for their violation of the legislation regulating their work. "The two municipalities have stopped communications with the ministry and reached out to the parallel east-based government instead," Shinbaru said. He also criticized the statement of support issued by the Municipal Council of Sorman, regarding the aggression on Tripoli, explaining that the practices committed by the members of the two municipalities threaten the social structure and contributes to jeopardizing the security and unity of the country.
