According to his mother, Mrs Mary Njeri, her son joined the university in September 2016 and is a former student of Menengai High school. “I found that he did not clear the school fees for the second semester and had shifted from the institution’s hostel,” said Mr Karuga. He called on the government to assist him in tracing his son whom he termed as a pillar in the family. The family claims that they have made efforts to trace the son in various police stations and correctional facilities.
