Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi revealed this during a dialogue with party members in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (Dec 18) night, as reported by Malaysiakini. Dr Ahmad Zahid said the suit will demand a "large sum" from the defecting lawmakers. Many had also wanted Dr Ahmad Zahid to step down as Umno president, which he refused to do. As for working with the DAP, we reject it 100% ,” he said in the “Wacana U 3.0: Heart-to-Heart with the Umno President” programme held at Menara Dato Onn here Tuesday night.
