PETALING JAYA: PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar appeared incensed over the prospects of former Umno leaders crossing over to Pakatan Harapan. Taking it to Twitter, Nurul Izzah said party-hopping is a betrayal to voters and an insult to those who stayed loyal with Pakatan. Lim had retweeted a post by Petaling Jaya MP Maria Chin Abdullah, whom had expressed similar sentiments as Nurul Izzah, calling out for a stop on “party hopping”. “We cannot accept Umno leaders whom had supported, assisted and be a part of corruption for 61 years. Six Umno MPs announced their resignations on Friday (Dec 14), while five MPs, two senators and nine assemblymen from Sabah Umno left the party on Wednesday (Dec 12).
