PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik's hopes of making it into back-to-back finals were dashed after they went down to Japan's Hiroki Midorikawa-Kyohei Yamashita in the Indian Open semi-finals. Malaysian Open runners-up Aaron-Wooi Yik could not raise their game and lost out 10-21, 21-13, 11-21 in 44 minutes at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi on Saturday (Jan 17). 2 pair's first defeat to the world No. 22 Japanese combo after beating them in their sole meeting previously in the Thailand Open last year. Aaron-Wooi Yik's defeat means that Malaysia's challenge in the competition has ended.
