President Uhuru Kenyatta, accompanied by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, will Monday lead the nation in viewing the body of the late President Mwai Kibaki at 10:00 a.m in Parliament. The statement noted that a Military Guard of Honour will be mounted along Parliament Road for the entry procession into Parliament. Public viewing at Parliament Buildings will be between 09:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for two days Tuesday and Wednesday. After lying-in-state for three days, on Friday, the military gun carriage and State Funeral Procession will make its way from State House to the Nyayo Stadium, the venue of the National State Funeral. The committee says the National State Funeral Memorial Service will be inter denominational led by the Catholic Church.
