Mr Odinga claimed police were using force to evict members of the Samburu community occupying the farms. Addressing locals in Baragoi, Samburu County, during a voter sensitisation drive, he urged the Jubilee administration of President Uhuru Kenyatta to implement the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC) report. His visit comes a week after Mr Kenyatta's tour own tour of the same area. Speaking in Maralal, the President warned Samburu leaders against inciting herders to invade private farms in Laikipia.
