In response to a reporter's question about whether he feels under surveillance by State security, Uhuru Kenyatta confirmed that it is indeed true. He acknowledged that State security personnel are constantly monitoring his movements. He stated that this level of surveillance is not a secret and comes with the territory of holding his office as President. Uhuru Kenyatta then mentioned that when he chose to run for office, he understood that his privacy would be significantly reduced.
