President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga are only five percentage points apart in the presidential contest, a new survey shows. The findings by Ipsos indicate that if elections were held today, Uhuru would secure 47 per cent against the NASA flag bearer's 42. On the level of public confidence in presidential candidates, President Uhuru Kenyatta led with 40 per cent, William Ruto was second at 31 per cent, Raila Odinga third at 25 per cent and then Kalonzo Musyoka at 12 per cent. It showed only 32 per cent of the public believed President Uhuru Kenyatta was committed to fighting graft.
