The lights are dimming for Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and allies as Registrar of Political Parties Ann Nderitu gazettes new Jubilee party leaders. In the notice issued on Wednesday, ORPP gazetted the intended changes made by Jubilee MPs allied with President William Ruto. Earlier in the day, Jubilee's acting Secretary General Kanini Kega announced major changes in its leadership following the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal ruling on Monday. "Take notice that the Jubilee party intends to effect changes in the national officials of the party pursuant to section 20(2) and (2) of the Political Parties Act, 2011," reads the notice. In the changes, former President Uhuru Kenyatta was been replaced by Nominated MP Sabine Chege as the party leader.
