Recycling Coca-Cola bottles in special vending machines can put you in with a chance of winning LEGOLAND experiences this summerOwner of LEGOLAND and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres, Merlin Entertainments, has partnered with Coca-Cola in a new sustainability initiative that aims to help protect the planet and reduce plastic waste. This summer from July 1 until September 30, guests to a number of attractions, including LEGOLAND Windsor and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham, will be in with a chance of winning VIP experiences in exchange for recycling an empty 500ml plastic bottle. Visitors will be able to responsibly dispose of the bottle at specially-designed reverse vending machines. One of the experiences available to win includes a shark feed at the Deep Sea Adventure at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort in connection with the Sea Life Trust. Merlin has been collaborating with Coca-Cola on these vending machines since 2019 and has collected and recycled over 100,000 plastic bottles.
