President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday sent a message to all employers who insist on formal wear saying it is high time they incorporated Kenyan made shirts and dresses. During his Labour Day address, the Head of State reiterated that dress codes at the workplace should also include African attire as this will go a long way in creating employment opportunities locally. “I want to encourage our employers who insist on formal wear by their employees to ensure that those dress codes also include our own African attire. President Kenyatta also had a message for those in the transport sector, asking them to maintain the same levels of discipline and hygiene once Coronavirus is behind us. “To those in our transport sector, the measures you have taken so far on hygiene and discipline should not be forgotten when Corona is behind us.
