The Global plan provides for country-led movement towards the elimination of new HIV infections among children and keeping their mothers alive. The aim is to increase the availability, accessibility and quality of health services to deliver quality results and improved health outcomes. This was under the Global Plan towards the elimination of new infections among children by 2015 and keeping their mothers alive. With funding from USAID, Uganda, through the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation (EGPAF), a global leader in the fight against Aids in children is implementing the Global Plan in 14 districts in Southwestern Uganda. Integrating HIV with other services will end epidemicEGPAF is enhancing integrated HIV service delivery in Southwestern Uganda.
