More than 100 cattle worth millions have been killed after lions invaded the Delamere farm in Gilgil. Over the last couple of months, several lions have escaped the Nairobi National Park, raising fear and anxiety among members of the public. Farm security manager Jess Mito said on Sunday that the problem started late last year when the first eight lions escaped from Lake Nakuru National Park. Two weeks later , a lion sneaked out of Nairobi National Park, adding to the excitement that has been Kenya's lately, but ended up injuring one person. He said Delamere farm, which deals with livestock and their products, will be seeking compensation from the Kenya Wildlife Service.
