'Udta Punjab' can be released with just one cut: HC

The Bombay High Court on Monday said that the film 'Udta Punjab' can be released with just one cut. "Senior advocate Ravi Kadam, counsel for Phantom Films, however refused to cut any other scenes or words. It asked the CBFC "not to dictate" to filmmakers what words or scenes can be used in a film. The film is set for release on June 17.During the two-hour long hearing, HC posed some tough questions to the board. This has already given them enough publicity," the judges said.Advocate Advait Sethna, counsel for CBFC said that the film was defamatory to Punjab and its people.
