Jonathan McCambridge, PAUlster Unionist leader Doug Beattie has said it would be a “personal failure” if his party does not return to Westminster following the upcoming UK general election. The Army veteran has been party leader for three years. The Ulster Unionists, once the dominant force in Northern Ireland politics, currently have no MPs. I think if I wasn’t the party leader I would be running now. It is an honour of my life to lead the Ulster Unionist Party.
