Man charged over assault outside Co Antrim village pubBy David Young, PAA 28-year-old man has been charged after a teenager was left in a critical condition following an assault outside a bar in the Co Antrim village of Waterfoot. Police received a report of the 19-year-old victim being unconscious in the Main Street of the village just after 1.25am on Saturday. Officers believe an altercation took place outside the pub following an argument inside the licensed premises. The man remained in a critical condition in hospital on Sunday evening. A 28-year-old man arrested later on Saturday in connection with the assault has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
